If your bathroom floor tiles look a little worse for wear, you do not have to live with them anymore. Refinishing is a more cost-effective solution compared to replacing the tiles, which can be much more expensive and time-consuming. Even if your tiles are in good condition but have some surface-level problems, you can paint them in their current condition and seal them.

The Two-Components Floor Coating consists of a water-based acrylic paint (Part A1) and a hardener (Part B1). The hardener increases the durability and performance of the paint, reducing the dryness period and improving adhesion. Unlike walls, floors go through more wear and tear from constant traffic and contact with water and heavy-duty cleaners, which can affect the longevity of a paint job. To protect the new painted floor, it's recommended to apply a Two-Components Clear Topcoat, which is a water-based polyurethane topcoat (Part A2) and a hardener (Part B2). This combination provides greater compressive strength, higher hardness, and better wear resistance, chemical resistance, and water resistance, extending the lifespan of the floor coating.

The process is simple and the results can be amazing. First, clean and sand the surface to create a slightly porous surface for strong adhesion. Then, mix Part A1 and Part B1 to apply the base floor coating in two coats, allowing it to dry between each coat. Next, mix the clear topcoat Part A2 and Part B2, pour it onto the surface, and use a brush to distribute it evenly. Allow the topcoat to dry for 20-24 hours, and wait the full cure time of 7 days before cleaning the floor or countertop.

The floor paint and seal topcoat are both made of high-performance two-component materials, which are 5 times stronger than one-component materials. Unlike walls, floor tiles go through a lot of wear and tear, so the two-component product will last much longer than a regular one-component product. The water-based formula is odorless and suitable for a variety of flooring types, including ceramic/porcelain, concrete, hardwood, fiberglass, and laminate.

The floor coating (Part A1: 1kg/35oz + Part B1: 20g/0.7oz) covers 35-40 sq. ft. for two light coats, and the clear topcoat (Part A2: 400g/14oz + Part B2: 80g/2.8oz) covers 35-40 sq. ft. for one coat. The surface dries in 24 hours and has a semi-gloss, porcelain-like finish. It's important to wait the full cure time of 7 days before cleaning the surface to ensure maximum hardness.
