No, it's not necessary! Our tub paint is an all-in-one solution. Simply allow the paint to cure fully for 7 days (the time required for the new finish to reach its maximum hardness) before enjoying a hot bath.
Do I need to tape off the drain in the tub before pouring or brushing?
Yes, we recommend taping off the drain in the tub to prevent any potential issues.
Do I need an extra roller and brush for each coat?
No, you don't need to. You can simply soak your tools in water after use to prevent them from drying out and reuse them.
How long do I have after adding the hardener to use it?
It's best to use it within 12 hours after adding the hardener.
How many coats do I need to apply to completely cover a very dark base color?
A dark base color may require more than 4 coats of paint for complete coverage. Please assess your base color and purchase adequate paint accordingly.
